Founded over 60 years ago by Bill and Viera Gore. Gore has $4.5 billion is annual revenue and has been recognized by Forbes as one of the 200 largest privately-held companies in the U.S., and employs more than 12,000 associates worldwide. One of the keys of Gores innovative advancements has been the use of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) in its manufacturing. With this versatile polymer, GOre has created numerous products, from medical implants to fabric laminates, to fiber technologies within a diverse range of industries.
Gore has over 3500 unique inventions but perhaps most notable are its medical devices. More than 50 million innovated Gore devices have been implanted, saving and improving quality of lives worldwide.

In 2017 Gore celebrated the 50th anniversary of its Flagstaff location, having established roots here in 1967. Today Gore employs roughly 2000 associates across the 11 plants that make up Gore’s Medical Products and Division headquarters.
